As I mentioned in my other post regarding not keeping up with Jones, many of us get trapped in name-brand games.
I have seen as young as an infant wearing name-brand clothes.
This habit will not only lead the child into the name-brand game, but it’s also wasteful.
Instead of buying Nike shoes and a GAP outfit that they will grow out of in a second. Why not invest the same money in the Brand name company stock instead?
Buying stock is easier than you think. You can start from one share at a time. Imagine how much you’ll accumulate in 18 years.
After 18 years, you can keep or sell the stock for profit, which can be used towards their first car, the college funds.
In addition, your children can learn how to buy and sell stock to make a profit.
Again, please be advised that I am not a financial adviser.
This opinion is solely from my experience of managing my money.
The outcome of profit may vary depending on the stock market.
As all stocks involve a certain amount of risk, please consult a financial professional before investing.
